Assistant Site Manager

Rate £220 - 230 per day

We are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager.

You will be responsible for coordinating onsite activities with the guidance of the Project Manager and Site Manager. Besides this , you should ensure that the building materials are stocked on time, and construc

tion equipment is available at all times. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the site is safe and tidy.

You will be responsible for monitoring the construction budget and making a note of all the expenses. Moreover, you should conduct regular site inspections and ensure all onsite activities adhere to the industry standards and safety protocols.

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be liaising with internal staff and external subcontractors and labour.

To perform well in this job role, you should have excellent communication skills and strong leadership qualities. Furthermore, you should also be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

All applicants will need to have experience in Residential Developments and have a good keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing on-site labourers and Construction Workers
  • Ensuring building materials and equipment are available at all times
  • Keeping records
  • Coordinating daily onsite activities
  • Liaising between subcontractors/suppliers
  • Planning and implementing work schedules
  • Adhering to the construction industry standards and safety regulations
  • Reviewing and communicating onsite progress
  • Undertaking site safety inspections
  • Preparing and presenting site reports
  • Offering to help secure licences and permits


Requirements

  • SMSTS , 1st Aid , CSCS Card
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Assistant
  • Complete understanding of the rules and regulations governing the construction industry
  • Basic knowledge of site safety practices
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrating leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
  • Having an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to offer customer service
