BIM Manager wanted in Cardiff, Wales to work on Data Centre projects for one of the UK & Ireland's biggest Building and Engineering companies operating over 100 years. Contractor or PAYE positions available with amazing packages on offer. Lengthy career for the right candidate.  

Working on a cutting edge development where, as an experienced BIM Manager, you will be working on exciting and innovative projects whilst utilising your comprehensive knowledge in Autodesk Revit/Navisworks/Autocad to generate coordination plans whilst ensuring the highest possible efficiency and quality.

You will be:

  • Support the Precon team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements. 
  • Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.
  • Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities. 
  • Lead the DPD kick off meeting (with support of Information systems manager) with the senior project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy. 
  • Managing MEP coordination

You will have:

  • Completed a third level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, building BIM Engineering
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office
  • 5+ years experience utilising Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects (VFP), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks
