Job description

A primary school in Leeds is seeking to recruit an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within their Reception class.

This is a full-time opportunity and applicants must have previously gained experience supporting within an EYFS setting.

The school itself is a warm and nurturing primary setting that has an excellent reputation across the local area.

Our teaching assistants’ duties can include:

  • Working with small groups of pupils
  • Providing intervention support
  • 1:1 support for EYFS students

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Some experience of working with EYFS children or in a school
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
  • EYFS or level 2 or 3 support staff qualification is desirable but not essential
