About the Role:

Location: Wolverhampton, a vibrant city brimming with opportunities.

Focus Subjects: Dive deep into Cognition and Learning, Communication, and Interaction, Social Emotional and Mental Health, as well as Physical and Sensory development.

Student Profile: Picture a secondary-age young person brimming with potential, navigating the complexities of ASD and a significant learning disability.

Challenges: Embrace the journey alongside the student, understanding that some challenging behaviours may arise.

Responsibilities: Craft personalised learning strategies, foster an inclusive and supportive environment, collaborate closely with parents and professionals, and flexibly adapt teaching methods to ensure progress and growth.

Requirements:

Passionate about advocating for individuals with diverse needs, fuelled by a genuine commitment to making a difference. Prior experience in supporting individuals with ASD and learning disabilities is highly valued. Demonstrate a solid grasp of the specified focus subjects and a thirst for ongoing learning. Possess the essential qualities of patience, empathy, and stellar communication skills. Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit the unique requirements of each student. Hold relevant qualifications in education or a related field, providing a solid foundation for your impactful work.
