We have partnered with a dynamic, and forward-thinking Practice in Hayes which is within easy reach of the A40 and M4 in West London. They are excited to welcome a new ANP to their friendly and enthusiastic team. The Practice list size is approx. 11,000, has a Good CQC rating, uses EMIS and Docman and has a high QOF achievement.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
  • Job Type: Part-time (30 hours p/week – 4 days – Mon to Fri)
  • Location: Hayes, Middlesex
  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience. 
  • Support Team: They have strong clinical team on-site for support. One of the partners will always be around in the practice. Clinical staff meet up every day in staff room at coffee break time in the morning for quick informal chat.

About You:

  • Registered with NMC with an MSc or equivalent degree in nursing/health.
  • Demonstrated experience in extended/independent nursing practice, including managing patients with long-term conditions and complex needs.
  • Possess clinical leadership skills with excellent communication abilities, including conveying difficult messages to patients and families.
  • Proficient in change management, resource management, and accountable for nurse-led services, including developing protocols and clinical guidelines.
  • Familiarity with clinical governance issues in primary care, national health policy, and the wider health economy. Experienced in audit, research, and nurse prescribing.

Key Duties

  • Provide patient care independently within professional scope through face-to-face consultations and telephone consultations (15 minute appointment slots).
  • Utilise advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and protocols.
  • Prioritise patient needs, perform triage, and make referrals for investigations and specialist care as necessary.
  • Coordinate care delivery, involving patients and their families, ensuring adherence to care plans and involvement in decision-making.
  • Act as a clinical leader, supporting staff development, promoting a learning environment, and advocating for the role of ANPs in general practice.
