The Role - HLTA (Special Needs)

We are looking for a HLTA to join a high achieving Special Needs School starting ASAP to support students with ASD and Complex Needs. As a HLTA you will be required to assist the classroom teacher when required, offering support and guidance to TAs and LSAs, preparing and developing resources for learning activities, lead small groups of pupils or small classes as and when required and recording and reporting the progress of pupils. For this HLTA role, you must have a calm and confident approach and must have the ability to build up rapport with students ensuring that positive progress is being made.

This well-established Special Needs School is located in the vibrant London Borough of Tower Hamlets and is easily accessible from most points of London. This Special Needs School caters for 122 students between the ages of 7 - 19 who have ASD and Complex Needs. This Special Needs School was recently graded as 'outstanding' in all areas in their last Ofsted inspection in February 2022.
