Major Recruitment is seeking a skilled Burner to join our team for an immediate start in Edinburgh City Centre. This position offers a competitive salary of £27 per hour and involves the dismantling of an 8-story elevator shaft through welding and cutting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Execute dismantling operations on an 8-story elevator shaft.
- Utilize welding and cutting equipment to disassemble metal structures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Burner or similar role.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Proficiency in welding and cutting techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to start immediately.
