Job Title: Automotive Embroidery Developer
Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire
Rate: £38.27ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £29.00ph PAYE
Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until 31/03/2025)
Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an embroidery specialist to join the team to support a new and growing workstream. The candidate will be expected to develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production.
Skills Required:
- Embroidery digitising.
- Experience of DG16 Tagima software.
- Experience of creating artwork, stitch paths, stitch types to meet a brief.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience of all aspects of machine and handsewing, preferably durkopp experience.
- Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles.
- Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly.
Experience Required:
- Experience of digitising artwork to generate physical embroidery samples.
- Working knowledge of hand embroidery. Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs,
- CAD drawings and colour call outs.
- Experience of threads, textiles, leather varients and materials suited to the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
- Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and Senior Management.
