Educ8 Recruitment are looking to appoint a Head of Maths who is available to work in one of our Client's Secondary School in Thurrock, Essex

This is a Permanent Head of Maths position to start September 2024

The successful Head of Maths will have the ability to teach Maths to all key stages. You must have recent and relevant experience of delivering lessons in a formal education setting. The school require someone with Experience managing a team of people. The HOD role will be working with the rest of the department to update and produce lesson plans and resources in order to deliver the Maths curriculum.

What you should bring to the Department

You should be Exemplify in own practice first class teaching skills and ensure that good practice is shared throughout the department, including good classroom management.

You will be Preparing, monitoring, and updating annual departmental plans in consultation with colleagues, you will also be Contributing to whole school policy‐making and strategic planning as required by the head.

• The ability to teach Maths to all key stages Curriculum and enthusiasm delivering their subject!
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• You must hold QTS or a recognised teaching qualification.
