Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team in Bedford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining continuity in the absence of regular teaching staff, fostering a positive learning environment, and effectively managing classroom dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Management: Skillfully manage and supervise classrooms, ensuring a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Lesson Facilitation: Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring a smooth flow of educational content in the absence of regular teaching staff.
- Student Support: Provide assistance and support to students during lessons, addressing questions and concerns as needed.
- Attendance Tracking: Keep accurate records of student attendance and promptly report any discrepancies to relevant staff.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with teaching staff, school administrators, and Dunbar Education to ensure effective coordination.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in covering various subjects and year groups as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working within the UK education system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and engage with diverse groups of students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover a range of subjects and year groups.
- Proactive approach to maintaining a positive learning environment.
