We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our team and work with children facing behavioural challenges in a school based in Luton . The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting these students, promoting positive behaviour, and facilitating their academic and personal growth.
Location - Luton , Bedfordshire
£80-£95 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural issues, helping them develop coping strategies and improve their behaviour.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement personalised behaviour plans.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Engage with families to provide guidance and support in managing behavioural challenges at home.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural issues, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
