Role: Senior Project Engineer
Contract: 6 months+
Location: Hertfordshire - hybrid working
Rate: £600 - £650/pd Umbrella, inside IR35
SRG are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join a global chemicals manufacturer on an initial 6 month contract with the view of extension. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, engineering and coordination of project activities in the CAPEX Project Team.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Support the management of projects from design to commissioning
- Monitor and report spend and engineering progress against project budget
- Identify and report any risks/issues that may affect project schedule, budget or quality
- Lead root cause analyses
- Manage & control interfaces with vendors and internal projects contractors.
Criteria:
- BEng in a related engineering subject (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a Senior Project Engineer
- Experience in delivering a complex large project scope in a complex, multi-stakeholder brownfield site
- Experience in working with EPCM contractors.
