POSITION:  Mechanical Site Manager

LOCATION: Highgate, North London

DAY RATE: £300- £350per day (Outside IR35)

START DATE: May 2024

DURATION: 12 months (1 year)

Our client Is a Tier 1 M&E Contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to manage the mechanical package on a Education Project in the Highgate (North London).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of the project within the program timescales. From Pre Construction through Site Construction and Commissioning to Practical Completion inc Snagging & de Snagging.
  • Supervise & Manager the Modification and temporary relocation of existing Roof mounted M&E Services, through to final permanent installation and commissioning.
  • Attend site meetings with the client and compile meeting minuets for internal issue to Senior Management.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and execution of mechanical & electrical services with other trades.
  • Ensure a high standard of work is maintained throughout.
  • Liaise with Trades and suppliers ensuring labour are on time and to program.
  • Liaise with Procurement department ensuring materials are on time and to program.
  • Liaise with Senior management regarding progress, Labour productivity, variations. 
  • Ensure effective communication with project management team.
  • Maintain on site compliance with the business health, Safety, Quality & Environmental requirements for the duration of the project.
  • Manage the production of RAMS & Progress reports.

Requirements:

  • 5 years + Experience as a M&E Site Manager
  • SMSTS / SSSTS certification
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Valid driving licence
  • Valid First Aid certificate
