Experience the charm of a quaint one-form entry, Ofsted rated 'Good,' village primary school, committed to achieving excellence, nestled amidst the picturesque countryside near Corsham, West Wiltshire. We're currently in search of an exceptional and experienced KS2 teacher to provide maternity cover in this progressive educational environment for a small mixed year 4 and 5 class.
 
KS2 Teacher Role Overview:

Contract length: Maternity cover, starting after May half term until the end of the academic year

Pay scale: Paid to scale from day one (MPS1-UPS3)

As a KS2 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in the school's dedication to student success. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Setting high standards for year 4 and year 5 pupils achievement and behaviour
  • Prioritising the needs of KS2 children in every decision, ensuring they're inspired and motivated to achieve their best
  • Fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and positivity in your interactions with colleagues
  • Demonstrating a genuine passion for both learning and teaching
  • Employing innovative approaches and diverse teaching styles to effectively engage students

Requirements of the KS2 teacher:
  • Maintain an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or demonstrate the willingness to apply for one through anzuk            
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as QTS                          
  • Ability to teach KS1/2 effectively                                                       
  • Must hold the current and valid Right to Work in the UK                      
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
