ABC Teachers are recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to help cover a full time class teacher role in a Year 1/2 class at a primary school in Cannock, to start in September.

This role includes the following:

• Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
• Working on a full time basis.
• PPA time will be allocated within these hours as well as support with planning, meaning extra-curricular work is left to a minimum.
• This will be long term cover starting from the 8th of April and lasting until the end of the academic year.

This school is a one-form entry school based in the Cannock Area, this school is part of a wider trust of schools.

To be considered for the role of KS1 Teacher - September Start you will:

• Be able to build a strong rapport with staff and pupils within a relatively short time span.
• Have prior experience leading in a KS1 classroom environment.
• Have prior knowledge on the phonics curriculum.
• Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
• Have a DBS on the update service / willing to obtain a new one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience working in a Primary School Setting.
