SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.33 – £90 per day

Contract: Long-term

GSL Education are seeking to appoint friendly and compassionate candidates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs at dynamic schools located in Ashford. The selected applicants will have the opportunity to nurture young pupils on their academic journey, encouraging them to learn and reach their maximum potential with a positive attitude.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Make learning enjoyable and encourage lesson engagement
  • Support each child and their individual needs
  • Build a strong relationship with every pupil to ensure they achieve their potential

In order to be considered for the role, the candidate must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Drive and have access to a car
  • Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks
  • Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
  • Be committed to safeguarding
  • Be adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
