Morson are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Plumber, to join one of the country’s leading Building Maintenance companies, on a long-term contract basis. This role would be ideal for a Mechanical Maintenance engineer, or an experienced Plumber and you would be involved in all sites planned and reactive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company, which offers fantastic opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE MUST HAVE EXPERENCE WORKING WITHIN CORPROATE ORGANISATIONS OR FACILTTIES AND NOT LOOKING FOR DOMESTIC / PRIVATE PLUMBERS FOR THIS ROLE.
Duties:
- To carry out maintenance, fault finding and repair on all building services and systems as directed by the Technical Supervisor.
- Plumbing Duties
- PPM’s and Reactive maintenance
- Water Flushing / water treatment - not essential
- Cooling Towers – not essential
- Dealing with leaks and replacing broken taps etc
- Toilet checks
- Overall general maintenance
Must have Commercial Plumbing experience for this role.
Skills required for the Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Essential - Level 2 OR LEVEL 3 City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or City & Guilds / NVQ level 2 in Plumbing
Hourly rate – up to £30 umbrella, depending on experience.
Contract role - 3 to 4 months but could go on for longer.
Hours – 7am - 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Overtime also available at good rates.
