Supply Desk is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Food and Nutrition Teacher to join our dynamic faculty in the Hemel Hempstead area. As a Food and Nutrition Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and inspiring our students about the importance of healthy eating habits, culinary skills, and the impact of nutrition on overall well-being.

The ideal candidate:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging Food and Nutrition lessons to students across various grade levels, tailoring the curriculum to meet the learning needs and interests of the students.
  • Teach students fundamental culinary skills, nutrition principles, food safety, and the importance of balanced diets.
  • Create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for culinary arts and nutrition.
  • Provide hands-on cooking experiences and demonstrations, guiding students in practical culinary exercises and recipe development.

Qualifications required:

ü  QTS or Proven experience in teaching Food and Nutrition concepts to students at the (Primary/ High School) level.

ü  Unqualified/ Overseas teachers also welcome to apply.  

ü  Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and nutrition principles.

ü  Passion for teaching and empowering students to make informed and healthy food choices.Top of Form
