GSL Education Watford is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Art Teacher to join our dynamic team at a vibrant school in Slough. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can ignite students' passion for art and foster their artistic talents in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid teaching qualification or UK equivalent, such as a PGCE in Art/B.Ed. with QTS.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of art and bring expertise to the Art Department.
  • Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to creating engaging art curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for teaching art and art history to achieve learning objectives.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in various art techniques and mediums.
  • Organize and maintain art supplies and tools for student use.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves artistically.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's art program and participate in faculty meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
