Role Overview:
- Sole ownership of month end management accounts
- Business partnering
- Knowledge of purchase ledger
- Excellent working knowledge of excel/managing excel models
- Public Sector experience
- Microsoft Dynamics experience
- Understanding of basic fundamentals at a transactional level – journals, accruals, prepayments etc
- Attention to detail
- Logical/methodical way of processing accounts
- Managing month end - journals (accruals, prepayments), closing the books, review against budget
- Month end reporting to budget holders – variance analysis and commentary
- Business partnering/monthly reviews with budget holders – advising on commercial/financial matters
- Budget management/forecasting
- Overseeing purchase ledger – PO’s, goods receipting, invoicing
