Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (Plus additional company benefits)

A rapidly growing M&E Building Services Contractor who are based in Kent are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role within my clients design team. My client works with blue chip contractors in the London market and operate in the commercial office, residential, mixed-use & pharmaceutical sectors.

They are looking for said individual to come into the team a play a key role in the production of mechanical designs with project values up to £40 million MEP.

This is a stellar opportunity for any Senior Design Engineer that has been in their role for a number of years that is looking to take their career to the next level with a market leading M&E Contractor who work on some of the most complex & exciting projects in London whilst being on a market leading salary and package with lots of further progression still on offer.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

• Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion.
• Strong internal & external presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to use your own initiative and work under time constraints.
• Preference shown for candidates with experience using CAD, Revit, Microsoft office & Amtech.
• Preferred experience managing both Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers.
• Providing accurate and detailed design in a timely manner.
• Ability to produce specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages.
• Overall Engineering responsibilities for mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support for the Mechanical Design Team.
• Manage both the Mechanical & Electrical Design Teams
• Work closely with the Supply Chain to ensure best value and manages variations / value engineering / re-engineering.
• Support the Project Team on technical matters with either the client or stakeholders.

Remuneration Package

• Industry leading basic salary and packages (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
