Electrical Marine Engineers- Contract - £25ph outside IR35

We have several opportunities for skilled Electrical Engineers looking for their next contract position in the Oundle area of Northamptonshire.
Your day-to-day role will involve being an enthusiastic and knowledgeable engineer, producing some of the most beautiful motor yachts in the industry. This role is suited individuals who have a keen eye for detail and a determination to build the final product to the highest quality.
 Duties will include:
 You will be responsible for installing and testing all electrics, electronics, and navigation equipment on yachts to an exceptional standard. The role includes:
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Installing electrical equipment on luxury yachts
  • Coordinating your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building
  • Carrying out general maintenance on equipment, including PAT testing
Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunking)
Drilling and cutting penetrations through bulkheads (walls)
Running pre-prepared cables/looms through the boat
Terminating cables, crimping, and creating looms
Installing and connecting generators/batteries
Engine room electrical fit out.
Mounting and installing a variety of components
Installing high value navigation and audio/visual systems
 
Standard working hours  40 hours per week, 7.00am to 4.00pm, Mondays to Thursdays and
7.00am to 1.00pm on Fridays additional hours available and weekend work
