£12 - £16/hour + Night Shift Uplift (if applicable)

Carbon60 are recruiting for a number of Electricians to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.

This Electrician is on a temporary basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working to engineering wiring diagrams and P&ID's
  • Knowledge of cable tray layout and installation
  • Experience of various cable glanding eg Hawke, CMP glands
  • Knowledge of Compex, Atex and 18th edition
  • Knowledge of instrument records and LV test procedures

Skills and Experience required:

  • Apprentice trained in Industrial Electrical Engineer (or a relevant qualification)
  • Relevant experience within related industry
  • Good working knowledge of Power and Instrumentation wiring
  • Knowledge of Compex and Atex is desirable
  • General computer skills
  • Excellent Organisation skills
  • Ability to act independently
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Attention to detail

Both day and night shifts can be considered, the working hours are:

Day shift: 7am-3:30pm finish at 12pm on Friday

Night shift: 9:15pm - 7:15am. Monday to Thursday
