Art & Design Teacher – Wolverhampton

Start date –September 2024

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in Wolverhampton. The school provides a high standard of education that helps each student achieve their future goals.  

The full-time role starts in September 2024 and the school is looking to interview potential candidates within the next month. If successful you would be working across KS3 and KS4 delivering Art & Design and supporting in other creative subjects. Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following schemes of learning. Experience teaching Photography, and ability to cover Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 is highly desirable.

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:

• QTS
• Experience teaching Art & Design up to KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• A creativity for teaching innovative and engaging lessons using a variety of materials available
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.
