The successful Payroll Manager is responsible for processing monthly payrolls for over multiple countries , ensuring all payroll deadlines are met, in addition to providing supporting to employees and managers at all locations regarding payroll and HR related matters.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager:

  • Serves as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
  • Process new hire and terminations
  • Interprets pay policies and ensure appropriate amounts / deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly
  • Verifies compliance with each country payroll requirements and staying current with changes in the law.
  • May assist with audits of internal controls, workers compensation, tax filings and related documentation
  • Analyse / verify and input payroll data during processing including but not limited to hours, rates of pay, benefit deductions, tax withholding etc
  • Reconcile and audit adjustments to pay (i.e. final pay calculations, retro pay, wage adjustments, commissions, bonuses, etc)
  • Assist with employee liens, garnishments, child support orders as well as employee verification and employment statistics.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the Payroll Department

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Clear and effective written and oral communications skills
  • Workday experience
  • European payroll experience
  • Ability to manage own time effectively
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to start on immediately or on short notice
