Position: KS1 Teacher 
Location: Southampton 
Salary Type: £150 - £200 Per Day 
Start Date: September 2024 (Interview date may be offered in Summertime)

Whether you're an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) looking to kickstart your teaching journey or an experienced educator seeking a new challenge, we have opportunities for you to excel and grow professionally.

At GSL Education, we work with schools all over Southampton to match good teachers with the right schools for them. We have roles available in various Offsted Good and Outstanding Primary schools for KS1 and KS2 classes.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver dynamic lessons tailored to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Foster a warm and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
• Implement efficient classroom management strategies to enhance the learning experience
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being

Requirements:

• Teaching Certification (QTS/PGCE)
• In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
• Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
• KS1/KS2 experience is desired but not essential

Key Skills:

• Skillful classroom management techniques as a KS1 Teacher
• Implementing differentiated instruction methods
• Clear and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Integration of technology to enhance learning experiences
• Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Utilising various assessment and evaluation strategies
