Our client has secured funding from the ‘City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS)’ to deliver sustainable travel improvement projects on the A38 and A432 major route corridors.
The key requirements for this role are as follows:

The key requirements for this role are as follows:
- Experience in designing Active Travel schemes in accordance with Local Transport Note 1/20
- Experience in the implementation of a range of schemes requiring Traffic Regulation Orders
- Experience in critically evaluating and commenting on Highway design documents such as drawings, reports, and calculations prepared by others.
- Thorough knowledge of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions.
- Experience of dealing with possible diversion/protection of utilities.
- Good knowledge CDM Regulations including the duties of the named roles and the documentation required for the successful delivery of major construction schemes.
- Knowledge of engineering design principles
- Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering
