£22,500 - £26,500/annum

Milestone Education is currently looking for a 1:1 Support Assistant to work in our partnered school in Birmingham supporting pupils with Special Education Needs.

What will you be doing as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant?

  • Working on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEND working to support their learning and development
  • Assessing the students’ progress and discussing development with teachers, parents and carers
  • Preparing for lessons in line with the class teachers' planning
  • Managing pupil behaviour
  • Contributing to individuals' Educational and health care plans

What do you need to be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant?

  • Be willing and motivated to make a difference in pupils learning and development
  • Experience in positive behaviour management
  • Understanding of supporting Special Education needs
  • Experience working with SEND in an educational environment

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday

Salary is based on experience and expertise.
