GSL Education are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary teachers in Sheffield (S4). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students and staff to enhance the educational experience and provide additional support in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the curriculum under the direction of the class teacher.
Lead small groups and provide one-to-one support to students.
Assist with the planning and preparation of activities and classroom resources.
Contribute to monitoring and reporting on student progress.
Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification, with experience in a primary educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
