Freelance Quantity Surveyor

My client are one of the UK's foremost independently owned construction companies specialising in build, residential, infrastructure, and FM services. They deliver projects across the entirety of the UK.
They are seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their Facilities Management division on a project in Durham, which is valued at £2m.
As the Quantity Surveyor, your role will include:
- Updating all cost control procedures as advised
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required
- Produce accurate costing for each aspect of the project
- Compiling reports on costs and cash flows
- Assist with preparation of tenders and procurement of sub-contractors
- Process subcontract orders, payments, and variations
- Attend team meetings as required
Salary: The rate for this role is £250 per day.
