Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify the specific needs of each child and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to children and their families, fostering resilience and coping strategies.
• Advocate for the rights and inclusion of children with disabilities within the community and educational settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and support.
• Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Provide resources and referrals to support families in accessing additional services and supports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Previous experience working with children with disabilities and their families preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to disability rights and services.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to advocating for the best interests of children.
