Contechs is recruiting on behalf of its client whose mission is to drive technological advancements within the mobility sector. They are seeking an experienced EDS Systems engineer who has a strong background in power supply system, wiring and fuse dimensioning, including power supply, fuse, and grounding strategy on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Job Description

As the EDS System Engineer - LV Power Supply your main responsibilities are:

• System design and dimensioning of the 12V power supply and Electrical distribution system in Vehicle.
• Dimensioning of needed power input including battery capacity.
• Design of the electrical distribution system with input from load database and a wider view of vehicle
• Close collaboration with function, system, and component responsible booth within and outside the Client.
• Communication with global suppliers regarding complex systems and dimensioning etc.

Qualifications / Skills required

• Master's or bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of automotive system and dimensioning.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive projects and collaboration with global suppliers.
• Individual needs to be able to manage tasks independent and drive issues with energy.
• Transparent in reporting status of the area and manage cross functional contacts as required.
• Fluent English both writing and speech
