The Role

Working Foreman completing refurbishment works on residential project in Whitby. This project is due to start on Monday 29th April 2024 and has a duration of 14 weeks.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

  • Experience working as a Foreman on refurbishment projects up to £250k
  • Previous / current hands-on trade background (Carpentry / Joinery)
  • Working in a fast past construction environment
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid (3 Day Course)
  • CSCS Card

Duties

  • Prepared to help out on the tools as and when required
  • Lead and motivate the site team to ensure all works are completed on time
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all works meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower and materials, to optimize productivity.
  • Enforce and uphold safety protocols and regulations on the worksite.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the site team and Senior Management.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to Senior Management.
  • Monitor project costs to keep project programmes within budget.
