The Role
Working Foreman completing refurbishment works on residential project in Whitby. This project is due to start on Monday 29th April 2024 and has a duration of 14 weeks.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
- Experience working as a Foreman on refurbishment projects up to £250k
- Previous / current hands-on trade background (Carpentry / Joinery)
- Working in a fast past construction environment
- SMSTS
- First Aid (3 Day Course)
- CSCS Card
Duties
- Prepared to help out on the tools as and when required
- Lead and motivate the site team to ensure all works are completed on time
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all works meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower and materials, to optimize productivity.
- Enforce and uphold safety protocols and regulations on the worksite.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Serve as a liaison between the site team and Senior Management.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to Senior Management.
- Monitor project costs to keep project programmes within budget.
