A council in the Sussex area is looking for a talented Taxi Licensing Officer to start in their team now! The role offers 30-37 hours a week over a 3-month initial contract with a chance of extension.
The exciting opportunity involves:
- Providing administrative support for the Taxi (Hackney & Private Hire) Licensing function
- Responsible for the processing operation - applications, renewals, variations, complaints
- Where necessary, assist with the inspection of vehicles and drivers ensuring legislation is complied with
- Ensuring that the entries into the licensing database and public registers are accurate and
up-to-date
