A manufacturing company based in Alfreton are looking for a production supervisor to join their busy shop floor!

This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with experience leading a team of shop floor staff looking to step into a new company and take on a new challenge.

Role Responsibilities:
• Fabrication duties
• Using hand and power tools such as drills etc.
• Operating manufacturing machinery
• Production planning
• Overseeing members of staff workloads
• Plan and oversee production operations
• Working from engineering drawings
• Assisting other departments such as purchasing and stores etc.
• Using measurement equipment
• Overseeing quality of products
• Liaising with other departments and management in regards to production

Requirements:

• MUST have previous experience working as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Fabrication skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Previous experience working from engineering drawings
• Strong communication skills
