Complex Care and Support Worker
Salary: £12 - £14/hour
Location: Lancashire, Carnforth
Work hours: Full Time, Part time
Hours are flexible however package requires 09:30 - 16:30 / 16:30 - 22:00 3x Days a week plus sleep in shifts.
Are you an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Worker with a minimum of 6-months UK based healthcare experience working in the field of Acquired Brain Injury? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in the Carnforth area!
About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare who are looking for experienced Complex Care and Support Workers with a compassionate and caring nature, ideally with experience in working in the field of Acquired Brain Injury. You will be providing support to a lady with an acquired brain injury and vascular dementia who requires 24/7 care and support.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- A minimum of 6-months UK based healthcare experience is essential.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality to connect with the client and create a positive atmosphere.
- Compassionate and patient nature with excellent communication skills
- Valid UK driving Licence with access to own vehicle
- Ability to complete the physical aspects of the role such as moving and handling
Note: All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
