Hours – 8.30 - 4.30pm or 10 - 6pm Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturdays on a rota’d basis

Job type – Temporary (to possible permanent)

Working for our partners The Joseph Rowntree’s Foundation Trust which is a highly respected charity based in York; we are looking for someone to join this organisation as a Customer Service Assistant/Administrator in North York. You will be providing a comprehensive and high-quality, front-line customer service & administration support which will be contributing to the smooth running of this area of the organisation.

Your role will be incredibly varied and will include some of the following;

· managing the bookings for meetings, celebratory events and community events

· reception work & assisting the managers and supervisor with the day to day running of the venue and the programme of activities.

· Dealing with monetary transactions in the post office and being the first point of contact for customers using services within the organisation

The successful Customer Service Assistant/Administrator will be using a range of IT office systems so you will need to be computer literate and we are looking for people who can demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills along with a foundation of great customer service and customer facing experience.

You must love helping and working with people and helping out wherever you are needed so no prima donnas please!
