Counterbalance Driver

Alfreton, Derbyshire

Monday-Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 2:00pm

Pay: £11.90 Per Hour

** Temporary to Permanent – 12 week temporary contract and then onto a permanent contract with the company for the right candidate**

We are currently looking to recruit a Counterbalance to join one of our clients in the chemicals industry. We have opportunities for enthusiastic and determined candidates to join their team, which could lead to full time employment.

Responsibilities

•             Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse

•             Stack goods in the correct storage bays, racking etc following inventory control instructions

•             Ensure loads are secure

•             Complete paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested

•             Scan the pallets and keep accurate record of stock movement (training will be provided)

•             Make sure the truck is operating safely and checked daily

•             Report any breakdowns, spills or malfunctions to the Manager

•             Assist with other loading activities as requested

Requirements

•           Experienced in the industry

•           A team player, with the ability to work unsupervised

•           Great attitude and work ethic

•           Excellent attendance
