A council in Norfolk are looking for an experienced Environmental Enforcement Officer to assist with the patrolling and investigating of the high streets of the local area.
The Role
- £20-25p/h
- 6 - month contract with chance of extension
- 37 hour working week
- This council take a flexible hybrid working approach
General responsibilities include:
- Investigating littering, fly-tipping and environmental crime in your patch.
- Foot patrols of on and off-street areas, inspecting public areas, identifying contraventions
- Interact well with the Borough’s residents and businesses to understand their needs and provide support.
- Experienced in issuing a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN),where warranted
- Produce high quality prosecution statements, case files and educational material to support Council action to tackle offending behaviour.
