Job Title: PMO Lead

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location: Warwick/Hybrid (two to three times per week in the office)

Salary: £400 per day via Umbrella

Are you a talented PMO Lead looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise? Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic team as a PMO Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Planning & PMO expertise to support the Enterprise Asset Management programme. If you are passionate about project management, collaboration, and driving successful outcomes, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Programme Planning: Utilise your advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project to build and manage the end-to-end programme plan. Collaborate with Workstream Leads to identify milestones and dependencies. Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate any delays across workstreams. Ensure integration of deliverables and milestones from all National Grid and IBM projects.
  • Wider PMO Activities: Provide support and guidance to the Enterprise Asset Management programme. Assist with programme control boards, governance meetings, and quality reviews. Implement a governance framework and manage stakeholder relationships. Oversee risk management, change control, resourcing, communications, financial management, and business intelligence.


Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management Office (PMO) roles.
  • Experience in matrix management of resources.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Essential: Microsoft Project proficiency.
  • Desirable: Float Analysis and Critical path
