Job Title: Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our client's team in Shaftesbury, working on a prestigious steel frame industrial project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the project, contributing to its successful completion within the designated timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of materials.
• Provide technical expertise and support to resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Conduct surveys and measurements to accurately assess site conditions and assist in the preparation of construction plans and drawings.
• Maintain detailed records of work activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and quality control documentation.
• Implement and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects, preferably within the commercial / industrial sector.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for surveying, drafting, and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
