SAP Cost Planner

Pertemps Reading are looking for an SAP Cost Planner
Hybrid working - 1 office day per week.
37.5 - 40 hours per week
2-month trial period, 6 month rolling contract up to 3 years

As an SAP Cost Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Update SAP with information regarding forecasts, actuals, and slippage. Tracking key milestones.
- Consult with Delivery Planners to maintain milestones based on correct outputs and outcomes.
- Managed project information during briefs in line with project/programme information and business plan objectives
- Consult with Governance Team to ensure changes to funding reflect project initiatives.
- Maintain SAP. Consult with Programme Manager to ensure monitoring & forecasting of unbriefed allocations and drawdowns to eliminate double counting risk.
- Maintain consistent Cost Breakdown Schedule (WBS) within SAP with Activity ID mapping and coding, to enable robust reporting and compliance with IFRS and other reporting/controlling standards.
- Ensure correct cost settlement and capitalisation.

To be considered for this SAP Cost Planner role, you should possess the following:
- Proven experience working with SAP financial modules.
- Experience with SAP Cost Centre Accounting, SAP Profitability Analysis & SAP Project system.
- Previous experience in cost planning, cost accounting or financial analysis is preferred.
- SAP certification or relevant training is a plus.
