The Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join the team in Witney, Oxfordshire. This is a 12-month initial contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive HR advisory support to the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, while promoting best HR practices across the organisation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on boarding new employees.
  • Collaborate with managers to address employee performance and conduct issues, providing coaching and guidance as required.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs to enhance HR knowledge and skills across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
