£18.50 per hour + holiday pay

Up to 45 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Supervisor to support the supervision of multiple compounds on a Major Long-Term project near Leeds.

Our client is looking for someone who is flexible to work across multiple sites and has a good understanding of Health and Safety Compliance in the Rail Industry.

You will be working in a yard / compound environment that includes being around heavy machinery such as HGV Vehicles, with responsibilities such as keeping the site organised, working flexible shifts, and leading in health and safety practises.

Compound operates 24 hours a day over 3 rotas.

Requirements

  • Have experience working within a busy safety critical compound / site. 
  • Worked around HGV vehicles / machines etc.
  • PTS and rail knowledge – advantageous.
  • Have a strong understanding and ability to implement Health & Safety working practices.
  • Be flexible to work shifts (Days / nights).
  • Hold a full UK driving Licence
