 Mechanical Site Supervisor - Water Industry experience is desirable 

Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the M & E Manager/ Lead Site Supervisor.
  • Supervise and oversee all mechanical site activities efficiently, ensuring adherence to specifications and contract timelines.
  • Prioritise health and safety, ensuring all activities are conducted without risk to personnel.
  • Maintain quality standards, ensuring all installations meet specifications and completion of all ITPs.
  • Support the Site Manager in upholding a safe working environment for employees, supply chain partners, and visitors.
  • Ensure accurate recording and review of all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) documents.
  • Verify that all documents adequately describe planned work.
  • Review and provide input on Method Statements and Work Instructions according to the Project Execution Plan.
  • Supervise work to guarantee compliance with Method Statements and Work Instructions.
  • Document work progress through record drawings or other appropriate means.
  • Record and address all non-conformance issues and identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating with relevant personnel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
