Mechanical Site Supervisor - Water Industry experience is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Directly report to the M & E Manager/ Lead Site Supervisor.
- Supervise and oversee all mechanical site activities efficiently, ensuring adherence to specifications and contract timelines.
- Prioritise health and safety, ensuring all activities are conducted without risk to personnel.
- Maintain quality standards, ensuring all installations meet specifications and completion of all ITPs.
- Support the Site Manager in upholding a safe working environment for employees, supply chain partners, and visitors.
- Ensure accurate recording and review of all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) documents.
- Verify that all documents adequately describe planned work.
- Review and provide input on Method Statements and Work Instructions according to the Project Execution Plan.
- Supervise work to guarantee compliance with Method Statements and Work Instructions.
- Document work progress through record drawings or other appropriate means.
- Record and address all non-conformance issues and identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating with relevant personnel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
