Are you a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Look no further! Our esteemed client, a leading Local Authority in South London, is seeking passionate individuals like you to join their team in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Services within Children's Services.

As a Qualified Social Worker in MASH Services, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and young people by assessing and managing risks, coordinating multi-agency responses, and providing timely interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments of referrals concerning child protection and welfare concerns.
• Collaborating effectively with professionals from various agencies to gather information and formulate appropriate plans.
• Undertaking direct work with children and families to assess their needs and support positive outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
• Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
• Proven experience working within children's services, preferably in a MASH setting.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload efficiently.
