The Vacancy: Project Delivery Technician

We are looking for several Project Delivery Technicians to join our Enable Team. As a PDT you will own the preparation & handover phases of the technical delivery of LAN and wireless data services to our new and existing customers!

This is a 6-month contract within our client's growing Provisioning department.

The job itself:

• Working alongside the Project Delivery Engineers and Client Project Managers to ensure completion of projects in line with our client’s industry leading standards.
• Setting up of LAN and wireless networks.
• Ordering site equipment in line with project budgets.
• Configuring site equipment in line with design documentation.
• Provisioning LAN infrastructure using ZTP.
• Creating and updating work packs / Plan of Works for installs.
• Creating documentation for our Support team so they can assist with customer issues.
• Supporting third parties with provisioning of their systems (CCTV, Door Access, etc.)
• Updating project stakeholders on install status.
• Assisting Support teams with customer issues where required.
• Managing equipment configuration deadlines ready for shipment.

• Ideally an IT Networking degree or hands-on experience in a networking role
• A logical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment during busy delivery periods.
• Ability to communicate on both a technical and non-technical level.
