We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver on long-term contract basis (3 months plus) or permanent basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate company vehicles to transport goods or materials safely and efficiently to their designated destinations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving licence or not more than three points, excellent navigational skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 3.5 Tonne van driver to transport goods and materials to designated locations.

Load and unload goods and materials onto the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

Plan delivery routes using GPS navigation and maps to optimize time and fuel efficiency.

Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the van is in good working condition.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs.

Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods promptly and courteously.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or concerns.

Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and customer service.

Assist with other duties in the warehouse or distribution centre as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record or not more than 3points.

Proven experience as a van driver or similar role.

Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Reliable and responsible with a strong commitment to safety.

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or overtime if needed.
