Site Agent required for a busy site in Guildford area covering civils and plant works. 

Our client is a busy main contractor who are running a large site in Guildford area and are currently looking for a strong civils Site Agent who has excellent experience in earthworks, housing civils, drainage and general civils works. The role will be managing subcontractors and running a full civils package on what will eventually be a large housing site. 

The ideal Site Agent candidate will have:

• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Black CSCS Card
• Strong managerial experience in the civil engineering environment, ideally with main contractors
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team of foreman/engineers and more

The Site Agent role will involve:

• Working closely with the head office and management team
• Chairing progress meetings and managing the team including foremen, site engineers, site managers etc
• Running a large civils site on time and on budget
• Working alongside the commercial team and design teams to ensure progress and cohesion
• Managing all suppliers, subcontractors and staff on site
