Physics Teacher

Education Personnel are looking for a Physics Teacher that is able to teach Physics 5 days a week. The role is for a Full-Time position. There is a possibility of extension or a permanent position.  This is an ideal position for all Physics Teachers. Physics teachers willing to accept M1-UPS1 pay may all apply.

The School

The school is based in the North Nottinghamshire area and is a highly regarded school in the locality. This lovely semi-rural secondary school are looking for an enthusiastic Physics teacher with a can-do attitude.  The school has an amazing recently modernised site, with fabulous extension plans upcoming! The school already have fantastic facilities such as top of the range experiment equipment white boards as well as throughout the school. The school achieve excellent results, pupils have exemplary behaviour and the school offer fantastic CPD. The school is a little larger than average but has an excellent SLT who are prepared to support their supply staff throughout their placements. Teachers of Physics will be provided with top of the range equipment to prepare fantastic and engaging lessons.

General duties of the Physics Teacher will be:

•             Inspiring Classroom Leadership: As a Physics Teacher you will be at the forefront of classroom instruction, delivering engaging lessons that captivate students' curiosity and interest in the subject.

•             Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of our physics curriculum, ensuring alignment with the latest educational standards and promoting a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

•             Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and a genuine enthusiasm for physics.

•             Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies to gauge student progress and provide constructive feedback that promotes continuous improvement.

•             Collaborative Approach: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to create a supportive network that enhances the overall educational experience for our students.

•             Safeguarding and pastoral support

In order to qualify for the role, you must be able to work full time, have a teaching qualification and be passionate about your subject.
